I can access the link for the software but clicking on the link s provided for the cubs driver leads me to an error page. What am I doing wrong? I'd love to install the printer under Mavericks, too. Apr 16, Apr 16, 5: I've been up and down the Japanese site with google translate searching for the driver. All I found after hours was the software and again and only the software.

The site states though that Mac Os Mav supports the printer - but I can't find the driver link. Apr 16, 6: Apr 16, 2: You saved my day! I was just about to return the printer. Now everything runs just fine.

That aside, i like the scaleable aspects of the finished item, the fact i can print top to bottom as well as the convential side to side, and also find that the tapes are easy to apply and in my case repostion. Much more economical to use than my previous hand-held label printer as in the Auto function the machine cuts the tape with little waste.
I would suggest using the Editing software rather than just plugging it in and getting going as there is so much more variety in the designs you can use. I am so pleased to have upgraded to this machine and will soon need new tapes! Thoroughly recommended as it is a joy to use. Rated 4 out of 5 by aviator from Generally Good, Watch for Tape Waste This is one of very few label printers which has label tapes available in various types, including laminated, which is what I needed.

The only drawback is that the default settings are very wasteful on label tape, ejecting about 20mm of wasted tape for every label. Label tape is quite expensive, so you want to make sure that you correct this. I also own a hand-held Brother labeller which, although very portable, does not have the huge range of options that this machine provides. I can add images, symbols and a wide variety of text fonts.
When I attempt to print nothing happens, how can I correct this?
The software is fairly straightforward and my only regret is not buying one last year. The problem is that it wastes as much tape as you print ie 4cm of tape per label. Not sure if this is due to Brother of the software in the PAT tester but it makes it an expensive label. I am sure it is only a software tweak but judging by the forums this is not available Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by Jack2 from PTPC Great little machine for printing all sorts of labels for around the house and particulary in the office The office is why I really purchased - I'ts makes things look so professional - There is a good selection of 'ready made' templates to download which again - gives that professional look to the labels Date published: Rated 4 out of 5 by scrumpet from Great little Printer but let down by software I have many years of experience with this type and make of printer in a work environment, but when extracting print data from a spreadsheet which it is supposed to be compatible with, it adds carriage return and adds fields into the print layout.
But when you understand its errors it does a fine job Date published: Tape Width 3.
