Paperback Verified Purchase. I have gotten some recipes on line at the Six Sister's Website and was excited to see this cookbook available on Amazon, but after receiving it and browsing through the recipes, I am not excited. Maybe I should have been more aware of the types of recipes when the title is "Dinner Made Easy" These are very easy, very basic, absolutely beginner type recipes. Most recipes call for frozen and prepackaged ingredients.
Like the "Meatball Sub recipe" it is literally frozen meatballs, a jar of sauce, shredded cheese and sub rolls Another sloppy joe recipe calls for 2 cans of manwich The whole cook book is just so beginner, basic, and full of unhealthy, non fresh ingredients I did: Amazing recipes to feed one or a whole family. Unfortunately,my boyfriend is a PICKY eater no stringy meats-roast, etc no pork chops, nothing healthy-if he knows it , just an absolute cooking nightmare plus he's diabetic so I have to watch what he will eat.
I found at least 20 recipes that I know he will really like. I really like every recipe except some of the meat recipes like lamb because I don't eat much meat. Overall just a great cookbook. I already ordered a few more for friends as gifts. Life saver! I researched quick, easy and nutritious cookbooks for my daughter who has a toddler, working husband and a full time job. She is not particularly confident in cooking for her family. But after she started using this cookbook she is thrilled!!
She plans a menu every weekend for the week. Some she uses the freezer meals and some the regular recipes according to the weeks schedules. She has bloomed using this book and says she will start giving this as a wedding shower gift plus a baby shower gift. I am obsessed with cookbooks and have well over 50 but this is easily my favorite. Every day ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen that don't take all day to make.

I've had of the recipes out of this cookbook and they have ALL been good! Love six Sister's books and love the Six Sisters! Recipes are detailed and 'normal' - you can find the ingredients easily in any grocery store. Perfect if you need a recipe book full of easy, delicious dinners! The recipes include ingredients that you have actually heard of, and their instructions are simple and easy to use.
I love the food in this cookbook. Easy meals, fast meals, and the meals use ingredients you already own. No more looking at a cookbook and then driving to the store to buy the ingredients. I'm just learning about the six sister's stuff blog, facebook and cookbooks and this was my first cookbook to purchase and it looks like a good one. Haven't cooked out of it just yet but sat down with a cup of coffee and looked thru it and it seems like there are a lot of recipes that my family will enjoy, with basic ingredients and no weird stuff, which no one will eat.
