Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. The intent is to see if it is specific to one account or a system wide problem.

This account can be deleted later. Isolating an issue by using another user account. If the problem is still there, try booting into the Safe Mode using your normal account. Jan 30, 6: I tried your suggestions. The ram seemed to be in high use in safe mode. However, I think everything is now resolved. I ran CleanMyMac 3 and now when I restart my computer and run a bunch of programs, the ram use is way down and I can actually navigate through my computer.

It is strange there is no Disk Information in your etrecheck report. I would try starting in Recovery mode and having Disk Utility repair your disk. Uh oh, what's wrong with CleanMyMac just so I know for the future?
I ran disk utility 4 times prior to the above report. It found that there was an error, but it repaired it.
