Scythe USB Foot Switches

Works pretty well, and for the price I am very happy. Much cheaper than the bluetooth versions and the cord is not a big deal. It does come with a standard USB plug, so to use with a tablet I needed to also buy an adaptor, but that was only an additional pound or two. Having two pedals meant I could set one to page down, the other to page up--useful if you want to repeat an earlier section. The instructions that come with it are not the best, and it took me a little while to figure out how to set the switches to the keys my software used, but once I figured it out it was very simple to do.

You do need a windows computer to set the switches, but once set they will work with Android tablets and even my smartphone with no problem. One quirk I have noticed is that the page does not advance until I release the pedal, but that is just something to get used to.

In fact it means you can step on the pedal to set the advance but hold it until you are quite ready. Pros and cons with this product.

Pros are that it is sturdy and well built.
