Had not used scal for many years but just purchased scal pro 5. Thanks for the review. My question to the readers is how many die cutters do you own? And how many is to many. I own cricut expression, cricut explore, cricut maker, brother scan and cut 1, accuquilt, Gemini, crafters edge cross over, ebosser. Thinking of purchasing the big shot pro. Connie I also own multiple Cricuts but they are older. If so which one would you suggest?
Sure Cuts A Lot 3 on the App Store
I am a big big fan of MTC! I think I watched every Web episodes. A free way to do it is to download bootcamp from apple. When you start the computer you can start in either windows or Mac. You can also get a program called parallels which allows you to run windows and the Mac simultaneously. Thank you Sandy for this great comparison.
I have MTC and have had it from very early on.
I love it but unfortunately, have not really sat down and learned to use it to it;s full potential. I just recently found out it is no being updated anymore, why did that stop? The owner of MTC never responded to numerous inquiries about why he stopped developing new plugins or providing updates.
Many owners expressed interest in even paying for a new version of MTC, knowing that providing years of free updates and new plugins had been more than generous.

Sandy as always, you cease to amaze me. You are the wonder women of these programs not to mention KNK. Which you have made me a true lover of. As you know, I have 2!
I always feel like I can only get so far with either of these before I have to call on you. Reminds me of when I was learning Photoshop and that took me 3 years and I still only know a hair more than basic. I am a show and tell learner.

Am I able to cut rhinestone templates with scal2? Hi there! I came across your article in an effort to see if Mtc will cut to silhouette cameo 3? I love mtc, and use it with old cricut exoression, but just recently bought a Silh cameo 3 and it is not showing up in my cutter options. Any help would be great. Pros It may not handle complex vectors with too many nodes, however using "Inkscape" a shareware program available here on CNET to create SVG files with "simplified node structures" will help to prevent freezing.

We need to able to give negative stars. Don't buy this get a vinyl cutter program for a computer to do your vinyl work. Once per 2 years is not that great.
